This adjustable leather bag strap set is everything you need to finish a satchel, handbag or crossbody — a full-length shoulder strap and a buckle closure strap, both cut from full grain Tuscan vegetable tanned leather and ready to rivet onto any bag you're making or any bag that deserves better than what it came with.

What's in the pack

For the hammer in rivet fixture you will need

- a rivet setting tool to fix the rivets in place with a hammer or mallet. (the rivet tool should have a diameter of 8mm)

- a leather hole punch tool (approximately 4mm diameter tool) to create the holes in your bag to fit the rivets through.

For the screw in Chicago screws you will need

- a flat headed screw driver

- a leather hole punch tool (approximately 5mm diameter tool) to create the holes in your bag to fit the rivets through.

The main strap (goes round the body)

The strap is adjustable and measures 95cm (37”) at shortest/120cm (47”) at longest.

The straps are 2cm wide and the leather is about 3.5mm thick.

The front buckle closure

The front closure strap is 25cm long and 2cm wide and 3.5mm thick.

Italian vegetable tanned full grain leather, approximately 3.5mm thick. From a tannery in Tuscany. The top layer of the hide — tightest grain, strongest fibres. Vegetable tanning (as opposed to chrome tanning) produces leather that genuinely ages: colour deepens, a patina builds, and the more you use it the better it looks.
