This leather backpack strap set contains everything you need to finish a handmade backpack or rucksack, cut from full grain Italian vegetable tanned leather and prepped with rivet and buckle holes. Attach with rivets onto any bag material. Available in brass or chrome hardware depending on the look you're going for.

For the hammer in rivet fixture you will need

- a rivet setting tool to fix the rivets in place with a hammer or mallet. (the rivet tool should have a diameter of 8mm)

- a leather hole punch tool (approximately 4mm diameter tool) to create the holes in your bag to fit the rivets through.

For the screw in Chicago screws you will need

- a flat headed screw driver

- a leather hole punch tool (approximately 5mm diameter tool) to create the holes in your bag to fit the rivets through.

Italian vegetable tanned full grain leather, approximately 3.5mm thick. From a tannery in Tuscany. The top layer of the hide — tightest grain, strongest fibres. Vegetable tanning (as opposed to chrome tanning) produces leather that genuinely ages: colour deepens, a patina builds, and the more you use it the better it looks.
