A set of genuine Italian vegetable tanned leather strap and buckle fastening to attach onto your own handmade cross body bag or satchel. Comes cut to size and prepped with rivet and buckle holes.  Can be attached to any material with rivets.  Leather washers are supplied for strength and to reduce stress on your own material.  All leather is 2m/0.8" wide.




    Each kit includes

    * 1 adjustable strap plus leather buckle piece ( measures 95cm/37” at shortest and 120cm/47” at longest). Please contact Esther at hello@leatherneedlethread.com if you'd like a specific length
    * One (or two if selected) leather buckle fastenings for front of satchel (is adjustable from 10.5cm/4" at shortest to 20cm/8" at longest)
    * Solid brass or solid chrome buckles
    * Brass or chrome double capped rivets
    * 2 extra rivets with scrap leather for practising rivet setting
    * Leather 'washers' to go inside where the rivets are set for strength
    * All leather is 2m/0.8" wide.

    You will need to source

    * A rivet setting tool to fit 8mm double cap rivets - you can buy hand held tools easily online. Get in touch with me hello@leatherneedlethread.com if you need guidance.
